These angels measure an inch and a half at their widest point, and are 2 3/4 inches long. They would make beautiful Christmas ornaments, suncatchers, or rear view mirror decorations.
Each angel is handmade, using Japanese Delica beads in a soft wedding gown color. I can't really describe the color, it is almost an ivory, but has a pinkish / peach cast as well. Galvanized gold delicas outline the wings, and the skirt is accented with Fire Polished Czech Glass crystals. The finished piece is sprayed with Krylon, to help protect against wear and fading, and also to stiffen the bodice. The skirt is not sprayed so that it hangs freely. |

I made a few of these pins for friends after the 9-11 tragedy. Thank you Deb Moffett-Hall for the beautiful pattern! Each pin is carefully made with Japanese Delica beads, and the "pin" is actually a very strong magnet. It measures 1 1/2 inches by 3 1/4" long. The beadwork is sprayed lightly with Krylon, to protect against wear. *10% of the purchase price of this item will be donated to the American Red Cross. |
Beaded Quail Egg

This is my "Pinecone Egg" made with an emptied quail egg, then beaded with emerald and gold color glass beads in a pattern that reminds me of a pinecone. Each individual bead is painstaking placed with tweezers. The finished egg is sprayed with Krylon to protect against fading, and to strengthen the egg.
The egg pictured is not what you will receive - the finished egg is completed with an egg stand, and embellished with decorative beads. |
