Our life with Addison's Disease bonded Patches and I even closer. Living with it has shown me how little most of us understand animals' needs and how pain and disease affects them. Because of dear little dude I will be more watchful with my furry babies. And more aggressive with my input when a veterinarian isn't aggressive enough in diagnosis. There is much appreciation ot our vet in Saginaw, MI, who had an instinct that Patches' crash was more than kidney failure. As well as our vet in Snellville, GA, who spent as much time with us as Patch needed and who brought him through many crises in Patches' later years. Not the least I am grateful for Susan & Melody's k9Addison's email list, where I read information that relieved my little one of much of his pain.
