Breed: Cocker Spaniel

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 3 years old (November 1999)
Comments: I was lucky in that my regular vet was out of town and the one covering for him had treated Addison's before. It wasn't her first guess though. We went through a few IV's before we got to "the test". To tell you the truth I was relieved. To know that what she had was
treatable and controllable was music to my ears.

Comments: We rescued Angel from the local Shelter in June, only 3 days before the end. She was diagnosed after many trips to the vet in late July and is now on DOCP. Angel loves attention, being held, stuffed toys, belly rubs and tolerates her Border Collie new brother. Having no prior history has made it difficult to determine indicators for med mods. Her eyes are fine, caught her in this pic in the middle of a wink.

Comments: Tess lives life to the full, but is getting fed up with being treated as a test bed for drugs! Hopefully the group will provide a few answers. Mike and Sue, Cumbria, England.

Comments: This the Official pix from the Classic in Louisville Ky over Labor Day Weekend. A little over a month after almost dying and then being diagnosed with Addisons Oreo won the 12 inch Agility Class! The event was in an air
conditioned facility and she felt great. She was the only dog entered to have 3 Clean runs. She is a miracle and I love her dearly.

Comments: Shasta was born July 17, 1990. She and her sister Daisy (also a GSP) are our "girls". As you can see, Shasta enjoys fishing (LOL) and hunting. She and Daisy most recently helped Dave bag 2 pheasants. Lucky for us, Shasta is a survivor as we love our girls!
