Harley
Name: ~Harley~

Breed: Westie

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's:

Comments: My name is Harley and I've recently been diagnosed with Addisons. I'm almost 2 years old. I live in Wisconsin with my human parents, Jack & Lisa, and my brother Traveler (he's a Cairn) plus 3 cats, Sassi (she hates everybody!) Angel (she's sweet) and my boyfriend Babe (he's a hunk!). By my picture you probably can GUESS how I got my name. Well got to run, there's critters to chase. Looking forward to hearing from everyone.

Ginger
Name: ~Ginger~

Breed: Hound mix

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 3 1/2 years old

Comments: We adopted Ginger from the local SPCA 2 1/2 years ago. She was diagnosed with AD on 5/12/00 and after a very bad week, she is almost back to normal. While not quite as active as before she plays quite hard with her "younger brother" Charlie (a yellow Lab/Bulldog mix). Ginger has always been our "Princess". Now that she has AD even our two teenagers treat her with extra TLC. She is definately our third child.

Wyatt
Name: ~Wyatt Earp~

Breed: German Shepherd

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 5 years old

Comments: We adopted Wyatt when he was about 1, he has been our best friend. When he got sick on the Memorial Day weekend we almost lost him. We had to take him to an emergency vet 1 1/2 hours away, as we don't have one locally. Since it was Memorial day weekend we had to wait until Tuesday to get the results from the lab. With the help of DOCP and Pred he is back to his usual self, and we're all very happy to see that!

Rocky
Name: ~Rocky~

Breed: Chihuahua

Sex: Male

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 1 1/2 years old

Comments: Hi, my name is Rocky. Everybody calls me "Rock-a-doodle-doo". I have a big brother Wally who is a Dachshund / Chihuahua mix, and a little sister Tilly who is a miniature Dachshund. My mom and dad spoil me rotten so I entertain them by dressing up sometimes, like here in my little clown outfit. I am still trying to figure out where my parents hide my medication. Must not be in my treats cause they always taste great, but then why do they say I am a good boy for eating my treats? Well, they are only human, so who knows......

Nikki
Name: ~Nikki~

Breed: Standard Schnauzer

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 7 years, 4 months old (Nov. '99)

Comments: Nikki was adopted at 1-1/2 years of age from a Standard Schnauzer Rescue Club. She is a great companion and loves to hike and visit family and friends. Her brother, Ranger, outweighs her by 60 lbs., but she rules the roost!!

Anna Belle
Name: ~Anna Belle~

Breed: Beagle

Sex: Female

Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 5 years old

Comments: We adopted Anna Belle from our local Humane Society Animal Shelter in March of 1996 where she was brought in as a stray. She was diagnosed with Addisons in March of 1999 after a sudden serious decline in health. Now Anna Belle responds well to her monthly injection of Percorten-V and daily dose of Prednisolone. She enjoys life with our other adopted pets: Rosie the Beagle, Lucy the Basset, and three cats.
