Breed: Standard Poodle
Sex: Female
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 4 years old
Comments: We carefully monitor Toy's training, behavior, exercise, food, supplements, prescriptions, health (including) blood and urine to ensure that she remains in top physical and mental condition. As a result, she is able to compete in obedience and agility and earn perfect or very high scores. We will start training in tracking and freestyle in the near future.
Breed: Bull Terrier
Sex: Female
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 3 1/2 years old
Comments: Brownie was
diagnosed May 3, 2000. She is a 3 1/2 year old female brindle bull terrier. When she's feeling better, she likes playing with her rope and snuggling with her mom and dad. We were lucky that her vet suspected Addison's right away when she came in after collapsing. We hope that with some time and getting her dosage right, she will soon be bouncing around the house again.
Breed: Lab mix
Sex: Female
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 5 years old
Comments: Sugar is the best pet anyone could ask for. We are very lucky! We've had her since she was a 9 month, 40 pound puppy. We acquired her from the SPCA and she has filled our home with love ever since! Sugar is as playful as she was before she was diagnosed. She loves to go for walks, lay in the
sun, and rough-house with dad!
Breed: Dalmation
Sex: Female
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 3 1/2 years old (March 18, 2000)
Comments: Haley enjoys playing with and mothering her younger liver spotted Dal sister, Hershey, chasing squirrels, going on walks, and is always anxiously awaiting a treat. We were blessed when we rescued her from the Humane Society and we are blessed again that she is living a happy life after her crisis.
Breed: Basset Hound
Sex: Male
Age Diagnosed w/Addison's: 14 months old
Comments: Sammy (right) is daddy's little Addison's boy. He's a red and white Basset Hound who loves everyone(especially children). He had a very good teacher in his "big sis", Freddi (left). In fact, we brought Sammy home to be a playmate for Freddi because she was such a good pooch. And what a wonderful addition Sammy has been!
